Carolyn Ross married to Floyd for 15 years owned a antique and gift shop for 7 years. After 10 years of trying to conceive, their miracle child Denton was finally here. Carolyn closed her business and realized that she wanted to record every moment of Denton's life, and began scrapbooking. During this time, she met Amy Garibay, who was her single friend with no desire or models for scrapbooking. Amy soon became Mrs. Brad Hollingsworth and the mother of Presley. Carolyn and Amy then began scrapbooking on Friday nights (that extended to Saturdays and Sundays) on Carolyn's dining room table. Our master tool at the time was Fiskar's template and foam flowers. My my how times have changed!
After realizing Denton would be starting school soon, Carolyn needed to find something to do with herself. Our local scrapbook store was closing and after MANY MANY days and nights of prayer Carolyn started her journey as the owner of The Crafty Scrapper. Amy was the worker bee when the shop opened. In one year the business has taken off more than we could imagine and after participating in the Great American Scrapbook Convention and with Amy's love of the scrapbooking industry, we decided to start the on-line store.
Carolyn and Amy want you to have the same experience on their on-line store that you have when you enter the store in Waxahachie.
